JEMH can be configured to record information about actions that it has taken.
JEMH can save processed emails (and their reports) to disk. This allows administrators to analyse processing behaviour and review any emails that were not processed as expected. Emails are saved for diagnostic purposes, rather than an indefinite storage mechanism. For long term storage, we recommend storing externally (for example, on your mail server).
JEMH can save details of notifications that have been sent by JEMH - the original source of the notification, and its recipients.
JEMH can keep a record of changes that are made to email processing configuration inside Profiles.
This section displays the current disk usage of the files saved by JEMH.
Here is where you control what auditing features are enabled, and their respective settings.
The Retention window
setting determines how long JEMH will keep a saved email and its accompanying report for. There is a direct correlation between the size of the retention window and the amount of disk space consumed - the larger the window, the higher the disk usage will be.
Turning on the setting Auto purge successes
means that JEMH will automatically remove a recorded email if it is processed successfully. This setting is useful for reducing disk usage in environments where the quantity or size of emails is particularly large.
