Since 1st of October 2022 Basic Authentication (username/password) in O365 Microsoft 365 has begun to be disabled regardless of usage. Additionally Gmail has also dropped basic authentication since 30th of May 2022. As a result Inbound Mail processing may halt due to failures to authenticate.
