JSD 2.3.4 / JIRA 6.4

JSD allows the creation of Portal Users, these are created without a group, and are automatically added to a specific Service Desk that they were initially linked to.  The result of signup is that the new user is added to the Role Service Desk Customers

Example Signup URL: http://xxx:8080/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/DESK-3

Project Roles

Service Desk Collaborators (default to empty)
Service Desk Customers (defaults to jira-users)

Users that signup to a Service Desk are added as Users.

Service Desk Team (defaults to all jira-users)

Custom Fields

Request participants

JSD enabled projects have this as a new custom field (Stores the users that are participants in Service Desk customer portal requests. This custom field is created programmatically and required by Service Desk).  It is specific to Portal and/or full JIRA users

Issue Creation

When issues are created the Portal user is the Reporter, not a participant.

JEMH integration

JEMH JSD Integration should map additional JIRA Users via email address CC and/or Portal users to Request participants.  This behaviour should follow the same as Email User security (current reporter and participants can add more participants). For Jira Service Desk 2.5, please refer to Integrate JEMH with JIRA Service Desk.

For Jira Service Desk 3.0 and newer, please refer to Create Issues (Jira Service Desk 3)
