How do I route different addressed emails to different components in a project?
How do I route different addressed emails to different components in a project?
Scenario
E.g. Two inbound addressees 'abc@domain.com' and '123@domain.com', both want to be routed to a different component in project ABC, how?
Solution
1. Creating a Project Mapping for 'ABC' project, setting a default component if you want (its a fallback for non-matches), submit to initialize
2. Edit the new Project Mapping and add a new Domain Mapping for email address 'abc@domain.com' (no quotes when you enter)
3. Select the component you want 'ABC'
4. Check the 'match against addressee' checkbox
5. Submit the Domain Mapping.
Repeat (2-5) for 123@domain.com, picking component 'XYZ'.
Create a TestCase in JEMH with required addressee to validate.
Notes
Be aware, if you have more than one mapping, the first one to match wins....
