Message comment rejection via JQL match and Issue creation on message rejection

Message comment rejection via JQL match and Issue creation on message rejection

Two new features are now available - ‘Reject comment on JQL Match’ and ‘Issue creation on Comment Rejection Match’

Reject comment on JQL Match

Message rejection criteria has been improved to include comment rejection for issues matching a JQL query. This feature can be configured inside your JEMHC Profile, under the Message Rejection section of Pre-Processing.

When a JQL query is provided, messages matching the query defined will reject issue comments.

See Customize Message Rejection Notifications | Configure message rejection when issue matches JQL query for more information

Issue creation on Comment Rejection Match

When message rejection is configured, and this feature is enabled, JEMHC will now process issue comments that triggered the rejection and create new issues.

In order to enable issue creation for when message rejection occurs, you must have configured at least one of the following:

  • Reject Comment On Status

  • Reject comment on JQL Match

  • Reject Comments When Issue Resolved For More Than Days

See Customize Message Rejection Notifications | Configure new issue creation during message rejection match for more information.
