JEMH 3.0.0 brought with it improvements to how it interacts with Jira Service Desk projects.
Customer set up has been simplified
These changes have now been implemented in several older series' in order so that more users can benefit.
Customer users
Customer users should now be catered for out-of-the-box. Previously, JEMH required Jira Service Desk customers to have been explicitly granted issue permissions and given the “Service Desk Customer” project role. Now, none of that is necessary.
Automation rules
Jira Service Desk automation rules should now consistently work. This includes customers actions triggering workflow transitions.
Notifications
Some edge cases where events caused by JEMH would not trigger Service Desk’s own notification system are now resolved.
Which versions have this improvement?
As previously mentioned, these These improvements were originally first added in JEMH 3.0.0 . These changes have now been implemented in several older series' in order to have more consistent behaviour across the boardfor Jira 8, so those users already have this. The changes are now available down to the JEMH 2.4.x series (for Jira 7.6.x).
