Summary

Since the 1st of October 2022 Basic Authentication (username/password) in O365 has begun to be disabled regardless of usage. Additionally Gmail has also dropped basic authentication since the 30th of May 2022. As a result Inbound Mail processing may halt due to failures to authenticate.

To be clear, Jira is responsible for the definition/connectivity of mail hosts and connectivity to those hosts, when . When a mail has been successfully retrieved, then JEMH is invoked (by Jira), and at his point our support scope begins.
