Restrictions for free plan editions

What is restricted?

For users that have installed CSUM-Cloud onto their site containing an unpaid Confluence product, there are limitations on what can be accessed.

After configuring a privileged user (see Configuring the Privileged user credentials), CSUM-Cloud will gain access to check your plan edition. If the site is using the free plan, Space group operations will be prevented, displaying the following screen:

 

Why is this done?

Group rename operations, or changes that involve Space Groups require the ability to edit Space Permissions. Unpaid Confluence Cloud sites lack the ability to change Space or Global permissions. Because free confluence product users cannot make these changes, it also prevents the privileged user from making requests for permission changes.
