Scenario

You are getting a lot of spam emails sent in to your JIRA.

Solution

Using a filter like spam assassin to identify mail as spam will set a specific mail header 'X-Spam-Flag: YES'.  JEMH can be configured to filter such mail and either allow, drop or forward the mail item.

Example Email

This message is spam, due to the X-Spam-Flag: YES header.
