Space migration

Since 1.7.5

Space migration provides the ability to migrate whole space which contains multiple pages with native Latex macros to the MathJax macros output.

How to migrate

In order to migrate a whole space, you will need only select a space in the Space field and leave an empty Page field as per example

After clicking on the migrate content button the pop-up window will appear where you should confirm the following process.

Once you confirm it, the process of migration will start and you will see an entry in the Data Table as per example

Status

Different status outcomes:

QUEUED- preparation for migrate process

RUNNING- actual migration process

SUCCESS - all pages from selected space have been migrated successfully

FAILURE - if no pages have been migrated or exception happened during the migration process

REJECTED- if migration process has been rejected after preparation

CANCELLED - if manually cancelled migration process by clicking the Cancel button

REQUIRES_ATTENTION- when only part of pages have been migrated successfully

NOCONTENT - when no pages have been detected to migrate during preparation

TERMINATED - when the Confluence instance has been stopped

Depending on Space size (how many pages needs to be migrated) you may see different status output. In the example above space had only 10 pages that needs to be migrated, therefore, after confirming a process more likely you will see the SUCCESS outcome.

For example, migrating a Space that has 7000 pages to migrate, after confirming a process you will see the RUNNING status together with percentage indicator and remaining time which will indicate how many were processed and how long left (in format HH:mm:ss) as per example

In the case for TERMINATED status when the instance has been stopped, successfully processed pages will be saved. Therefore, to complete the whole space migration you will need manually to start again migration process and it will migrate the remaining pages.
