JEMHC has built into it a tool that will allow you to test your Regular Expression (regexp) syntax.

To access this, click on tools, then click on Regexp Tester

To view a quick reference of the common regex syntax, click on the down arrow next to JavaScript Regex Quick Reference.

To set the regex options, click on the down arrow next to Regex Options
