Pages fail to load for Confluence 7.13.1, 7.14.0

Scenario

Confluence 7.13.1 and 7.14.0 contain a bug that prevents some Velocity content from rendering. The root cause is the Confluence prevents direct access to its own Active Object framework entity classes, this results in a variety of errors rendering pages and general page load failures.

Resolution

Fix versions of Confluence are 7.13.2, and 7.14.1 respectively. Upgrade to these versions, or perform workarounds shown on both linked issues.
