System Notifications
Summary
System Notifications allow you to configure how JEMHCloud sends notifications about plan consumption, outages, releases etc.
Configuration Options
Email Addresses
This is a Comma Separated Variable (CSV) list of Email addresses that will be sent these JEMHCloud system notifications. (e.g. user1@domain.com, user2@domain.com ).
Any system notifications, regardless of license state, are sent to the static email addresses provided.
Users
This is a selection of Jira users that will be sent these JEMHCloud System Notifications.
User accounts stored are accessed using their unique accountID
. In the event of app uninstall, JEMHC is unable to search for user addresses with the stored accountID
. This can result in uninstall and purge notifications not being sent to selected Jira Users.
In this scenario, it is advised that the Email Addresses contains a notification recipient you wish to be notified of all system notifications, regardless of license state.
Usage notification warning thresholds (%)
When usage (data or messages) get higher than the provided threshold, JEMHCloud will send an email notification. The total includes plan and data packs.
Up to a maximum of five thresholds can be set, configured with CSV separation. Once reached, each configured threshold will send a usage notification. Configuring multiple thresholds within a small range can cause duplicate notifications for each configured threshold.
This notification can be disabled by setting the value to 0.
High usage day warning threshold (%)
When the daily usage of messages or data is much higher than the last week daily average, JEMHCloud will send an email notification. This value defines when a daily usage is considered suspiciously high. These emails are sent 5 times per month at most. This notification can be disabled by setting the value to 0.
Plan Refresh Notifications
This option allows you to opt into receiving a notification that identifies a usage summary of the previous month.
