Profile Notifications

Summary

This section allows you to configure who should be notified of emails that have resulted in a Forward outcome and whether you would also like the initial sender of the email to be notified of this.

Profile-driven notifications have now been removed after being deprecated in 2.7.3. Notifications are now configured via JEMH > Notifications.

Configuration Options

Forward User

Project Lead as Forward User

This identifies that the Project Lead should be notified of a email processing failure.

Forward Users

This is a CSV list of Jira users that should receive forward notifications when they occur. At least one Jira User needs to be specified.

Forwards Emails

Optional static CSV list of email addresses should be notified in addition to the forward user.

Hint Notifications

Hint Notifications enabled

When enabled, a notifications will be sent to the original sender when their emails encountered a problem when being processed. These notifications will identify why the email was not successfully processed and potential steps they can take to resolve this.

Override Hint Notification email address

This allows you to override the recipient of Hint Notifications so that only one specific email recipient receives these notifications.

Notify Sender of Forward

When a email results in a Forward outcome, a Hint Notification will be sent to the sender (or nominated override address) to aid in fixing the problem.

Issue Events

Use Generic Events

No other events, eg Updated will be used.

On Comment Event Behaviour

This is used to identify when the Comment event should be triggered. Current options are:

  1. Always Fire Comment

  2. Always Fire Update

  3. Events by Election

On Create Custom Event

The Custom event that should be triggered when a issue has been created.

On Comment Custom Event

The Custom event that should be triggered when a comment has been added to an issue.

Custom event firing mode

Determines if custom events are fired independently, as a bundle, or both.
