User Lookup
Summary
User lookup allows you to test whether a specific user has permission to browse/comment/edit issues within a specific Project and whether the Workaround User has the relevant privileges/permissions to lookup and create users.

Below is a table that highlights the options and their purposes.

Test username, name or email | (required) - The value(s) selected here that match a Jira user will be tested against the Test values (Project/Issue/Permission) also entered into the form. |
Test Project Key | The Project to test found users against. |
Test Issue Key | The Issue to test found users against. |
Test Permission | The Permission to Test found users against chosen Project/Issue. |
Testing the User lookup
After setting the values you want to test against, the user test data must be saved using the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the form. The reported messages will show the Strategy used, any found users, and any lookup checks for each of the found users.site-admins
The lookup will occur when saving if configuration is valid, but you can also run lookup again with the ‘Lookup Users’ button (Only available after saving configuration changes).
