Summary

This page allows you to test how a template will be rendered by selecting its configuration and context.

Previewing a Template

1. Go to Notifications > Preview. Select the new Issue Created Template set named Issue Created: Issue Created Jira Support (User)

   Open

   

2. Then select a Template Set, Template Type And Preview Context to use when previewing the notification

   Open

   

3. Press Preview to test the Theme

Preview configuration Options

Theme

This is the theme that should be used when rendering the template.

Template Set

This is the template set that is going to be used when rendering the Template Preview

Template Type

This is the type of content that will be previewed. The options are Subject, Text and HTML

Preview Context

This is the data that is going to be used when creating the preview. This means the test will use real values from a previous audit event.

Wiki Rendering Enabled

This will convert the issue’s description and comments from Wiki to HTML.

Recipient

This defines the users that would be used when testing the preview. This allows you to debug the content and privacy that is sent to each type of recipient. Leave blank to target Email Users.

Translation

This defines which Translation should be used within the preview. This will require the translation to already exist within Notifications > Translations
