Adhoc Notifications
To enable the Adhoc notification feature on the Jira Issue screen, the Adhoc notifications setting must be enabled.

Multi-Changelogs
Custom templates may contain breaking changes, which need to be addressed before enabling this feature. Please see our blog https://thepluginpeople.atlassian.net/wiki/x/EYAu4w regarding these changes.
When webhook events are received, they are merged to reduce plan capacity. Some scenarios with multiple users (or third party integrations, Jira automation, etc) causing multiple issue update webhooks would result in multiple notifications being sent.
Merging events helps to reduce plan usage for outbound notifications. By enabling this setting, you can take advantage of the merge event behaviour.
