JEMH 1.8.0 is a compatibility release with JIRA 7.0, it contains no new features.

Things to know

Groups

New instances of JIRA Software and Core have different groups from upgraded instances which have unchanged jira-users.  Should you migrate Profiles from a production instance to a new Development instance,  those groups will need to be recreated and allocated the required global permissions.

Things to do

Fix a recurring harmless exception

The following may appear in the log every 30s

[java.util.prefs] Couldn't flush user prefs: java.util.prefs.BackingStoreException: java.lang.NullPointerException
