Attachment links added as comments, Jira Service Management/Desk

When attachments are added to an issue in Jira Service Management (JSM) either through JEMH or interactively, Jira automatically creates a comment containing a link to that attachment to allow portal users access.

Exceptions

The only exception is when an ‘inline’ link is present in the email at create or comment. See:

If an inline link is present, a comment linking to the specified attachment will not be created. To ensure portal users can still access attachments referenced in this way, please enable either ‘Inline’ or ‘Summary’ links at JEMH > Profiles > Profile Configuration > Email > HMTL:
