Mail fails to be retrieved from mail server

Problem

When a network problem prevents JIRA from communicating to its database, scheduled jobs can be halted indefinitely.  If this occurs to the job in charge of pulling mail, no mail will be retrieved.

Solution

We believe this affects JIRA 7.0.x and 7.1.x, it is reportedly fixed in JIRA  7.2.0, see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-62072 .  Fixing this is therefore not possible in JEMH v1.8.x (JIRA 7.0.x) and JEMH v1.9.x (JIRA 7.1.x)
