Request participants not sent JEMH notification

Problem

JEMH does not send notifications to "Request participants" on Jira Service Desk customer requests.

Solution

  1. Ensure that JEMH is configured to notify users in the "request participants" field. Go to JEMH > Notifications/Event Listener and ensure that Use JSD Request participants is enabled for your project configuration.

  2. If you are using Jira Service Desk versions 4.2.0 to 4.2.4, you may be affected by the following Atlassian bug: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-6396. In this case, upgrade Jira Service Desk to 4.2.5 and Jira Core to 8.2.5.
